Tooso (now part of Coveo) wanted to grow its AI team, but it's highly competitive to hire ML engineers in New York. Furthermore, the team didn't have a lot of bandwidth for hiring and onboarding.
Through the Turing Talent Internship Program, COVEO hired Patrick as a ML Engineering intern initially, who is now converted to a permanent employee.
The Program managed candidate screening and matching. COVEO only needed to conduct interviews with 1 candidate to find the right fit.

Impact during internship: Patrick collaborated with existing team members to build a similar feature to Amazon's product feature comparison system. He used Deep Learning and neural nets, combined with NLP, image recognition and classification techniques.
